A very productive and relaxing day for a monday

Hi everyone , we are being so lucky with the weather and i  am hoping it keeps like it all week as i have got my week break from work , sun was shining and was not sure what to do today so i thought would take it as it goes .I made breakfast muffins last night as i found them on a slimming world group site ,i have tried the magic pancakes but thought i would give these ago as would be easier to take to work .
i had 3 as a healthy extra b  box two of them for breakfast and one later with a coffee .
They were not to bad a bit stodgy had them with a coconut muller greek yoghurt and banana  (yog 0.5 syns ) after this and kids of to school and collage i decided to walk to town and get a explorer ticket had a great ride out in the country side and it was really relaxing stopped at this town had a nosy about and of course i had to have my coffee .
Now as i was walking through this town i discovered a shop called farm foods went in and what a brilliant shop wish we had one near us , anyway walking round the shop i came across the mayflower curry everyone  on slimming world face book groups have been talking about or posting meals and i kept asking where you buy it as i could not find it . Well i bought 4 boxes and each box has 9 portions , told the shop keeper about the story and he said did i want a case  made me laugh .
Bus home and feeling hungry it was 3 pm when i got in so decided to have some of my pasta quiche
Took cat up to vets he has a sore stomoch and odd patches on him the vet thinks it might be a sort of dermetitis  and its infected thats why he keeps licking it and stratching he had a injection and i have to give him tablets for 10 days after vets he seemed a sorry state in his box .he has a bigger coller on him now to stop him from irritating his skin while the tablets work she said i would see a difference in a few days .

Afs it was after vets it was a quick dinner the girls just had chips from chippy and i went without and did myself tofu noodles and veg .it was quite tasty and i had fruit and yoghurt for dessert .
All of my food was free for dinner tonight apart from the yoghurt a strawberry  muller greek  0.5 syns these are so nice and thick and creamy really enjoyable .
Well everyone that was my day today a relaxing quite day and i enjoyed the sun and my day out to somewhere different ,i am hoping to get to london or a beach walk during the week if weather is good we will have to see , tomorrow i have the options as i have not been for a long long time and thought i better go also its weigh in day and i am not sure if i am going or not at moment as i have a week of work i might have a break from weigh in ,we will have to see in the morning how i feel

Motivated and back on the bus

This was me this morning after my lovley sleep and lay in this morning , i have had a nice rest and managed to get a good night sleep at last , As the sun was shining today i was lying in bed with a coffee deciding on what to have for brekkie and where to go on a walk as i needed to get motivated after yesterdays food disaster .
Here is my healthy breakfast 40 g dorset musli and a pot of fruit with a yoghurt really filled me up ,as i was eating this i thought i would do a long river walk but that all changed as daughter wanted me to put some fake tan on her legs as she had a party to go to , then wanted me to get bus with her to town ,but all was good and i ended looking round some clothes shops then went to the park just outside of town . And oh my it was a walk looked on pedometer and had walked nearly 4 miles round the park , here is some veiws for you .
I was walking so fast i nearly caught up with these joggers . I was not even half way round the park and had thought i have taken the longest route  and was desperate for the toilet typical me  ,kept walking and found one which was by the icecream kiosk thank goodness the kiosk was was shut ,after stop of  i walked a bit further and could see the park cafe

i really enjoyed the walk and stopped at the cafe decided to have a jacket potato and beans and cheese no butter with salad at the side ,really needed it after walk . Decided to walk back to town as it was not that far and get bus from there back home as i nipped in sainsburys to get a few bits . Back at home i managed to have a rest as i only had to cook for myself tonight and i was so busy on my pc looking on facebook and catching up on the slimming world groups next thing i know its 8 pm know wander i felt hungry , so at that decided to cook my tea .Cajan qourn and cous cous , i just had some cajan spices added tomatoes , tomato purree and peppers ,onion and courgettes and qourn , i have loads of it left so i may have it for lunch on sunday .
And that was my slimming world day everyone quite a productive day and i enjoyed my walk today as well My walk today in miles is 5 . 67 and steps 13226  so not to bad  really , i have not had any syns today but sitting here right now i fancy a hot chocolate low cal at 2 syns to round of the evening so my syns today will be 2 syns i know your supposed to have 5 to 15 a day but i really cant eat anymore and its no point forcing it in .

I am only human after all (food binge for energy)


This is how i have felt through the week everyone because of having a early shift week and surviving on a couple hours sleep ,i felt drained this morning and it showed i have eaten loads today and i am sure it was just to put energy into my body because it was food that i really dont eat that often and to be honest with you all i dont want this to happen to again even though it has made me feel a bit better for a while (the sugar hit) and i did manage to get 2 hours sleep when i finished work . Here is a run down of what i ate today  and it is so not slimming world plan and i am so not happy with myself sitting here right now but my body needed it and i have to live with it now .
breakfast was the usual early morning weetabix cake  ,banana ,muller yog ,coffee  followed by toast and marmite at 8.30 am 

Then it was my break at 10 am and was not feeling that hungry but was needing something ,i knew i should not have gone into the canteen this morning .
yes cheese on toast and underneath was tomato purree and wait for it i also had this 
One chocolate custard with flapjack crumbled on the top , looking back on this blog i am quite disgusted on what i have eaten today really and there is more to come as well  but i am being honest to you all and to myself as well . 
At home i had a tortilla wrap with some cheese in , i dont know why i even had this it was there looking at me saying please eat please eat . then here we go there is more 
2 weight watchers chocolate bars and a angel cake  and coffee  the chocolate bars have been in my cupboard for about 3 months  no kidding i dont really eat chocolate that much and i certinly did need it , the cakes were bought for daughters pack up and one left over it . I am sure i dont need to eat anything else today , ithink my body has eaten enough and what it needed to provide the energy to keep me going but i do feel a bit like this now 
Tomorrow is another day and i will be back on plan and back to my healthy life style and hope to get some good night sleeps in this week as im on a break from work so i am going to relax and may have some days out  walking and window shopping too ,

And i thought i was fit who am i kidding

Hello everyone , its been a great day again with the weather and i am hoping it continues as i am on holiday next week ,im staying at home and will just have a few days out ,i need to rest really as you all know i have not been sleeping well only getting 2 to 3 hours sleep and i am heading for total burn out if this does not stop , it must be stress and i have not been having a good time at work latley so im sure thats causing it  and because  im tired i am getting really bad headaches so i am sure this break will do me some good .
At work today we had a load of parcels to deliver on the 3rd floor and no lift , i took 3 parcels at a time and they were not light , altogether i did 6 trips up and 6 trips down of course . In the end i had to count the steps to get me up there as my legs were really hurting and felt like jelly so it kept my mind of it and i walked up 3 flights in the tower 12 times 66 steps(3 flight). so all of this total 792 steps .All of us were worn out by the time we got to staff room lucky after that it was not long before i t was time for me to go home . Breakfast this morning at 7 am at work was a weetabix cake and banana als yoghurt easy enough for me to transport in .
This is really filling and would of kept me going but after all those stairs i was feeling a bit hungry so break time i had a small roll and tuna out of the canteen which was ok as i had 2 b boxes i decided to do a red day. 
Home at last sorted out the washing and tried to have a small sleep but with no luck ,lunch made then into town to get daughter some leggings for her placement she goes too
A ham and onion tomato omellete with beetroot and cucumber and a gherkin all free food as i did not use any cheese today .
Dinner tonight i made lean mince and onion dry fried and added oxo cube and garlic , parsley made cheese scones to put on top to have as dumplings they are really easy to make , i will write recipie underneath . veg tonight was spinich broccli and butternut squash .
 CHEESE SCONES ; FREE IF USED IN A MEAL OR 3 SCONES 2 SYNS  (This is because if you had all for free you would over eat on them and would not help weight loss but as part of a meal ie as above they are free as only a small amount  so consultant says ) i know there is a lot to be said about tweaking but personaly i think if you dont go over board your ok .

1 pot cottage chesse onion chive one low fat 
3 eggs and 1 tsp mustard 
some flour to help mould together 
preheat oven , blitz cottage cheese in processer once smooth add 3 eggs blitz again start adding mash bit by bit you should have a sticky dough  dust with flour and knead till you have dry dough flatten out 12 portions i make mine into ball shapes and flatten a bit , spray baking tray with frylight and bake 30 mins . you can use your a box to put some grated cheese on them if want .
That was my day today with a bit of walking in there as well altogether i did 13086 steps and 5 .61 miles most of this done at work and the stairs . Before i go i must share with you what i found on the internet and think i will get one made as we have a shop in town where you can do this .

I think this is a great idea as i like visuals (think thats the word ) lol , well you know what i mean . 
At that i am going to say good night and have a soak in the bath and go to bed and see if my brain will switch off and i can get some sleep , i hope this blog is ok tonight as i am exhausted and i did not blog last night so thought i better blog tonight as did not want to let everyone down and blogging keeps me motivated . This girl is buzzing (weigh day)

                                                    ITS WEIGH IN DAY 



Hi , everyone , its been a great day today with the weather and the sun really did shine today ,at 5.30 this morning instead of going to work i could of quite easily gone the other way and had a nice walk, it was really mild and peaceful at that time in the morning ,but work was where i had to be and as i knew that it was only a 5 hour shift today so it went quick. 
On finishing work i decided to go and have a long walk as i had weigh in today and cause i had a bit of a blip  the weekend because i decided to weigh at home and have a sneaky peak  ,thought i better be good  and try and counteract it ,i forgot to take pics of my brekkie and lunch today and to be honest i did not eat alot mainly fruit and a yoghurt also a vanila soya milk and banana for lunch as i did not feel like eating much today .Here is my walk today really enjoyed it but felt really tired walking today as i have been on early shifts and not sleeping well again .
This is one of the parks we have by the river and there is another big park near town , i have not walked that this year as yet 
here is the rest of my walk by this time i was getting tired and wanted to get home i popped into iceland and got some chicken and diet coke then home to get ready for slimming world ,by now i was getting hungry and could not wait for 7.30 to come around and it is taster night tonight too ,i am looking forward to this to see what everyone has bought .
WEIGH IN AND I AM BUZZING TONIGHT yes everyone i am i got my stone award  at last after last weeks maintain and so far i have lost 15 . 5 pounds  and with all my effort on my red and green days this week  and cutting down on my fruit it paid off  ,Also it was announced that i was slimmer of the week and i was really shocked all this today has really cheered me up as i was a bit down today and thinking i had jumped of the slimming world bus but todays events i am definiatly back on it and raring to go , i have such support on my face book groups ive joined and writing my blogs albeit spelling not brilliant , this has  kept me focused and a big thankyou to all that read  . Here are my awards they will go on my kitchen board as a reminder to me to carry on 
The taster session tonight  not many had turned up but i think thats due to the weather  we had some nice bits though i made a mousse and others had made a butternut sqush soup ,falfels and a veg quiche ,jelly sweets and fizzy jelly . cous cous salad , we tried all of it . 
I had some dinner when i got in as i knew i would be hungry in night otherwise  
Macoroni cheese ,beetroot and salad 8 olives really enjoyed it and will see me through the night well everyone i must call it a night as its late and i think i have about 4.5 hours sleep before work and i am struggling to keep eyes open .

I did the worst thing ever yesterday on my sw plan

Hi  everyone ,sorry for not posting on saturday but it turned out to be a bit of a disaster , I weighed my self in the morning to have a sneaky peak and wished i never did as the scales said i had stayed the same as my weigh in at sw last week so i was not a happy person at that i went to town walked the 2 miles and had lunch I opted for a jacket potato and qourn bolognaise , went and did some shopping and stopped for coffee and thats when the damage was done i had this great big slice of victoria sponge cake got home and weighed again (dont ask me why) and it said i was 3 pounds lighter , Now the cake was 28 syns and 2 large wines on top 18 syns , so i had done the worst thing to weigh my self as gone over my syns just because i weighed on the scales and took that reading instead of waiting to weigh at slimming world .So i have learnt my lesson not to do it again so i dont go and stuff my self stupid and get upset .
                                       SUNDAY BACK ON PLAN
Woke up this morning and thought thats enough girl you are doing so well and just because you had a blip on saturday get back on plan today . This morning i had my breakfast of fruit and yoghurt and coffee.
it was a container of melon ,mango,pinapple and a muller greek yoghurt 0.5 syns , then i started on some meals for lunches in the week and i made these ,
A pan of vegetable and tomato soup all free , a weetabix cake he b and 3 syns  also scotch eggs 1 syn  so really pleased with what i made this morning , as sun was out i decided to go for a walk and had half of my weetabix cake with my coffee , and had more melon and mango  whilst i was out
So of i set and here is part of my walk ,
i really like walking along the river when the sun is out , it can be so peaceful , i had walked 3 miles today and 6865 steps not far today as i want to do a long walk on monday and tuesday before weigh in and i hope to get some nice pics for you all depending where i go . Home again and had a rest before putting on a roast dinner we had a qourn roast as other daughter was out for a meal , must say i do really enjoy it .

 roasted sweet potato ,peas,swede, cauli and broccli with low low cheese melted on it and 3 slices of qourn roast , daughter had a yorkshire on hers thought i would go without after yesterday event ,and that was my healthy day today no cheats and back on plan , i think what upset me the most about yesterday is that i had been so good all week and i did such a stupid thing  , oh well a knew day
To end the day i thought i would show you my shopping haul and a knew thing i found as well and low in syns .
As you can see loads of fruit and veg , apples ,mango ,plums ,cherry toms ,stir fry and my knew find beetroot crisp and only 3.5 syns a bag , they have carrot and apple ones too , cant wait to try them i will after tues as i am trying to stay low on the syns till then . Well its been along blog tonight and lots of pics for you all as well , i will leave you all with the days eats and have a good evening everyone .

On the slimming world bus and not the scenic route




And i am so glad its here ,i can finally rest ,well chill out and just do what i want to do instead of rushing about and having to work the late shift , its not that bad but takes your time up when you have to do extra and go back in for people because of functions going on ,and i have not been sleeping very well this week only 2 or 3 hours at most so i dont know how i have managed to get round work really ,and i am so looking forward to the weekend now ,i have not planned much but if weather is good i might do some walking as i have not done loads of exercise this week apart from at work 
Past few days i have been on the slimming world bus well and truly so much my halo is shining i have been trying to do some red day and also put in a few green days aswell to see if i get a good weight loss on tuesday as i have heard reports that it has done well for weight loss . A red day was planned today and started like this .
I made a scan bran and weetabix cake with mixed spice in it, and it works out at 3 syns for the whole cake and i had half for breakfast and half after tea , all you do is break up 3 scan bran and soak them in some boiling water mash up ,crumble 2 weetabix in B box add 2 whisked eggs a splash of milk and sweetner   microwave 4 mins . It was yummy wit a vanilla muller light and a banana ,
Decided to go this morning to do my shopping so i did not have to do it over the weekend went to lidl and really got my shop down money wise, as i am finding it a bit exspensive latley  with all the fruit and veg  so i have to shop about .  Shopping done back home a quick tidy up and washing to hang out ,lunch prepared before work .
3 lm red onion sausages 2 bacon medalions spinich and scrambled eggs  1 slice toast 400g  B box . Ive been trying to drink glasses of fizzy water as i get on better with it than just having the plain water . 
After lunch time for work and it was really busy ,just from walking round work it says on my pedometer i have done 11467 steps and 4.92 miles i think thats quite good for walking round work . 
Dinner tonight was a meal i have not had for a long time and i really enjoyed it and the whole meal was free 
Extra lean mince with carrots and onions ,spinich ,tomatoes , garlic and parsley  200 g new potatoes  green beans ,carrots and baby corn .and as you can see a nice glass of red wine and really needed . 
well that was my red day today and have been really good lets hope it stays like that and i get a good result on weigh in day . I have to laugh at myself as its taken nearly all night to write this blog as i was watching the telly and a programme  was on and i really got in to it . so at that i am going to say goodnight and i hope everyone has a great and relaxing weekend , i know i am .

Mr sleepy

Hi everyone , its going to be a quick one tonight as i feel so exhausted its unreal and i still have to go back to work for a bit and to be honest with you all i dont really know how i am going to do it , I only got 2 hours sleep last night and i have had a really bad headache all day and i know its because of tiredness ,So here is my food for today i deciced to have a red day thatS when you have more meat or qourn and weigh your pasta and rice , cereal on your Bbox and milk ,cheese on your A box ,i really enjoyed having one of these days and i found that it did really fill me up and i did not have many syns .

2 wholemeal toast with ham and 1 weightwatchers cheese
slice  2 syns . and a large mug of coffee that went down a treat before i popped in to town as i had to get daughter some pack up things as she was at training and not collage this week

Lunch i had to decide on a filling quiche no pastry as i knew it was going to be a long time at work .

I made the quiche with 3 eggs , low fat cottage cheese ,onions ,tomatoes and chopped up ham ,at the side i had salad with red onion tomatoes carrot ,lettece , spinich.


There was a bit of a drama at work today as well ,the drama team was having a spring concert and while waiting for it to start they was having a knock about with the foot ball and one of the lads dislicated his knee ,it was that bad the ambulance man had used 1 .5 canisters of the gas and air plus morphine they was there a long time i am so glad i never saw it ,Well with that bit of drama i decided to have my tea what i had bought in from home and i really did need it as time was getting on .

was allowed these on my extra b box ,on green or red days your allowed 1 or 2 A box and 2 B box ,i really enjoyed having a red day and will try another one just to see how i go . That was my day everyone and now im back to work for a bit and i really can not wait till i finish and bed , i hope to be back on here for a update on fri and will it be a Extra easy  day or a green day or a red mmmmmm we will have to see .
