a quick post tonight

Hi everyone a quick blog tonight as its been a quite day and nothing exciting has happen . breakfast this morning i had magic pancakes ,ireally love these and not had them for a long time .

i soaked 35 g of oatmeal my b box in a vanilla muller yoghurt in the morning i added 2 whisked eggs and some sweetner , i cooked them in frylight it made 3 and i have enough mixture for 2 more i might have these later if hungry .i enjoyed these with strawberries and a banana . After this i got my lunch ready to take to work and i made the pasta quiche the night before .

this was all free food and plenty of veg with it and in the quiche as well , i also had my space crisp with it at 3.5 syns  also a ginger tea .
Tea tonight i decided to have chilli and rice as i had alot to do at home and also wanted to walk up launderette to dry washing as i hate wet washing hanging around the house , it was not a bad walk really and i think its a mile in total so a bit of exercise tonight ,
As to exercise i must start doing some more as i have been a bit slack on it ,i never feel like going out once i get in from work and with the weather not so good it does put me off
Snacks today i had my crisp 3.5 syns  2 scan bran  2 syns  1digestive biscuit 3.5 syns  1 babybel light cheese 2 syns  total 11 syns
A box  30g chedder cheese
Bbox  35 g  oatmeal
that was my day and i feel i have not stopped eating  but all within my allowence  i have had some extra  pasta quiche and ham i just had the nibbles but at least it was not cakes ,chocolate and loads of crisp which can be so easily done , have a good evening all

I am back and on the bus but no weigh in this week

Hi everyone , well after the weekend bank holiday i have decided to get back on the slimming world bus , well today really as i did not feel like going to weigh in last night so unfortunatly i have no weigh in result this week but i am going to keep at it the best i can and how the mood takes me as well and have a result next tuesday for you all , 
This morning i decided to make the ginger scan bran cake as i had some lemon quark to try and thought i would have it with a banana before i headed to work 
this is really filling and had half  i still had the other half to eat because its your 5 scan bran on your b box and you can not carry it over  ,and first half i feel bloated , off to work i go anyway its quite at moment because student are on holiday but we have plenty to do to keep us busy and time goes quick  break time i had these and they are really low in syns and do the job nicely as well 
i worked them out at 3.5 syns a packet so i was really pleased and you get quite alot in there as well kept me going till lunch time ,had a quickish lunch most was prepped up the night before as i had a birthday party to go to and quick tidy up of house as my daughter had decided to invite 12 friends round to watch a film tonight  , i am summond to my room lol , i dont mind i have my music on and blogging so im ok , im in to bruno mars at the moment i think he is great . anyway lunch , veg cous cous and qourn sausage x 2 and beetroot all free food 
after my lunch i decided to finish off the scan bran cake and to be honest with you all i dont think i could do the scan bran challenge for 5 days it really bloats me and i feel full , think i will have it every couple of days as i do want to try the recipes . Birthday party was good and i love to see the kiddies enjoy themselves , had a small slice of birthday cake rude not to and it was really nice ,had  2 coffees and time to get home and tea only had to cook for me and i decided to have qourn meatballs with mayflour curry sauce and the left over cous cous .
Really enjoyed it but my stomoch is not i think having this and the scan bran was a bad idea and i think i will pay for it later (if you know what i mean ) lol  i feel bloated and full of wind i think so wont be doing that combo again , well i am going on f b now and continue listening to my bruno mars , i think i might have to go and see him in concert well i will let you all get on with your evening and hope write tomorrow x night all x

Does all this really matter (sad news)

Hi everyone hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend and enjoyed the sun that we have been having hope it continues . i have had a good half of the weekend good and other half not good at all which i will tell you about during blog and reason for my title ..Saturday was a lazy day and just a general tidy up as in afternoon early evening we were setting of to proms in the park and a nice evening for it although the tempeture did drop later on , i took a slimming world picnic but friends took other goodies as well but i only ate one cake so was good all evening and had some cherry brandy when it got cold which i really enjoyed .
The park is starting to fill up with people pinicing and bbq s  drinking wine a great atmospere

And here they are well i wont put all the pics of them on here but you get the idea . and the evening was really enjoyable and everyone singing and waving flags .
SUNDAY; i have not got alot of photo s to show you today as i think i just spent it in a daze and a sick feeling in my stomoch i found out to day my friend had passed away of the dreaded cancer leaving two young kids behind  , i cant really remember what i ate really . that brings me to say does this really matter ,is there more to life than this i just feel so deflated at the moment and nothing seems to matter and that slimming world went on the back burner especially monday i took my kids out shopping and we had breakfast ,lunch and dinner and a few glasses of wine i tried to enjoy the day but in the back of my mind could not stop thinkimg of those kids and what there going through , i thank god for what i have every day and the friends i do have on my face book groups and friends around me and i aqm going to enjoy life i have and even though i want to loose another 15  pounds  i am not going to be obsessed with it , i will still blog as i like to keep a diary and let  others read my blog but what has happen has put everything into perspective .
iTS WEIGH IN DAY tomorrow and i am not sure if i feel like going at the moment i shall see tomorrow how i feel by my scales it says i have lost but i feel a bit fragile at the moment so we will have to see , if i dont blog for a few days you all know why  , hope you all have a good week x

yay its friday at last (still on track )

Yes its friday and although it has been a cold and rainy day i am so glad it has arrived and we have a long weekend to look forward to and i am hoping the weather will be better for all of us .Today we have been really busy at work and that makes me happier beleave it or not as it makes the morning go quick and then i am home with lots more things to do as well but first of all i have a pic of my breekie and not had this for a while so i really enjoyed it this morning before i set off
Oatmeal made with soya milk and a banana with a black coffee i do find porridge or oatmeal really does keep me satisfeid for a long time so i do like having this type of breakfast .Snack this morning was grapes and a special k moments biscuit really enjoyed them as i have not had them before and they are low syns so even better At work today i had already planned my lunch and was so looking forward to it as well
A qourn bacon and tomato sauce sandwich as im using up the stuff in my freezer i like bacon as well but i also like to eat the qourn products  and i think i am vearing towards them more also with the sandwich  bacon flavoured waffle crisp my favourate as well at the moment . Friday afternoon was spent doing

The food shop at least its nearly all done and i can have a relaxing weekend and watch some films ,chill out and maybe have some glasses of wine (well it is the weekend ) well after i had done all this it was time for tea
Chicken in soy sauce and garlic stir fry veg and noodles very yummy dinner tonight after eating that i now think its time to relax and enjoy friday evening have some syns left so might enjoy a glass of red wine . Hope everyone has a great bank holiday weekend and enjoy whatever they are going to do

Another great sw day for me

HI to you all ,its been really busy at work today and the morning went really quick which i am very thankful for i am always happy when it does not drag ,it has been rather cold as well today with rain and sun and my coat was on and off today as well as weather kept changing . Breakfast this morning was the chocolate and beetroot scan bran cake and i had mango ,grapes and pinapple  ,melon with it so plenty of super speed to start me of for the morning .
i had eaten some of this then rememberd to take a picture , been busy at work had really made me hungry this morning as we was doing loads of lifting and walking about so i had my snack early .
really enjoyed these today and only 4.5 syns so a good low syn  snack ,Ate these and got on with some more work but still felt hungry so at break went into canteen to see what they had decided on 
a pasta king cooked pasta and a qourn tomato based curry i counted 2 syns in case there was any oil in it but it was the most perfect thing that suited my green day and it did fill me up this time well until lunch that is , lunch was quick as i was meeting a friend this afternoon so i opted for a slice of pasta pie all free food and hoops to go with it ,
i did only have a small portion of pasta pie after my food this morning and had to get ready to go out was going to go out for a walk with friend but as the weather was not so good we went for a good old coffee and natter as friend has started sw too and its good to exchange recipes and ideas  , keeps us going on the journey , i think in my next blogs that are  coming up i will tell you all a bit about my dieting journey and how i have got to be more focused this time around so you know a bit about me . On to my dinner as i am doing a green day today i decided to have a bit of a clear out of my freezer so it was a  bit of a mish mash of things not to bad though and all free 
Hoops ,peas , sweetcorn, mashpotato ,qourn sausages qourn bacon  really enjoyed it and it was all free again i have only had 1 b box today as well as i have not needed my others ,this week i have decided to have my coffee black and cut down on the cheese too and so far been able to go without  .I will leave you tonight with my syns as i have not got a very exciting blog or not alot to share today as its just been generally a work day and friday tomorrow to i say yay to that as we have a long weekend and i hope the weather will be good  so i will say good night and have a good friday everyone .

Weigh in and start afresh

Hi everyone sorry i have not blogged pass few days but i have not felt up to it and have not been feeling to good either and also have been forgetting to take pics of my food , well it was weigh in day last night and i was not looking forward to it at all i have not felt well and felt a bit bloated really , i decided to go but did not stay on at the class for body magic just wanted to get home  .So on the scales i stepped 1. 5 gain yes a bloomin gain i was not impressed as i only had 3 pounds to loose to get my 20 pounds loss so now i have 4 .5 pounds to loose now i am determined its going to come off this week thats for sure  i have got my books out and i am a 100% on plan all week no mucking about . 
Breakfast this morning i had  shredded wheat and some almond milk  i forgot to take a pic 
snack today was a coffee and a snack a jack caremel 2.5 syns , there was loads of nice cakes going round at work too due to a retirement and i did resist them .
Lunch i had pasta  with pesto 2 syns  tomatoes beetroot cucumber and 40g low fat cheese b box 
Dinner i had pasta pie with tomatoes and onion in it with salad and beans as well  all free food after this i decided to make the scan bran chocolate and beetroot cake and it was delicious  could of eaten all of it but i would of been on toilet all night and i found 1 slice was really filling , dont think i could do the scan bran challenge and eat 5 scan bran a day most people make cakes to do it as easier to eat scan bran is very dry . 
Going to take some for my friend to try and see if she likes it  well that was my slimming world day  today and fully on plan total syns 6 so i am happy with this and i am not hungry either , i am off to plan my day for thurs and make sure i am totaly in control . see you all tommorrow everyone x

Scan bran its like marmite you either love or hate it

Hi everyone since my last blog its been a funny kind of week and i have been a bit up and down on plan and im not sure why, i have had a cant be bothered sort of feeling although i have been trying i am not sure if its because i am writing it down all the time on paper and just need to do it in my head for a bit i know the plan and i cant keep writing it down constantly thats not a way of life,or a lifestyle to me  i dont know if its because i am having generly not a good time at the moment and just feeling down ,i know i have to push through and not undo all the good, as i have been so focused and i dont want my worries make me turn to food and comfort eat .
I have been trying to eat more scan bran and find recipes for it as well as it is the type of crispbread you either love it or hate it , i am just getting use to it with a bit of cheese on or some spread ,i am writing about this tonight as recently we had a discussion about it on a fb page , apparrently you have to drink alot of water with it it can either make you constipated or have you running to the toilet , it makes me run ,lol
The only way i can describe it  carboard  thats it really and when you chew it does take some chewing it just turns into this fibre so does really fill you up and its best to make recipes with it ,a lady on the fb group posted scan bran ginger biscuits so i decided to make a big one and put quark and white chocolate options with it and i must say it was very tasty , works out at 4 syns for the whole cake  and the scan bran is your b box ,i still have half of it left as i could not eat the whole of it i would be running to toilet all day not a good thing to be doing at all ,i might have a bit more tonight if i have any room . Today i went to town  early with daughter as she had work and we took ironing to the hub ,i was so blessed with the girls there being able to do it and they was doing car washes as well they worked hard all day such a great crowd up there so while they was doing this i went for breakfast with daughter i opted for scrambled egg on toast and daughter had a cooked brekkie , then went and did shopping and picked up ironing got home feeling bit hungry so had pasta tomatoes cucumber and chicken ,beetroot just finished eating it and thought opps for got picture so im sorry , this evening just chilling out on facebook page and chatting to everyone dinner tonight i decided to make mayflower curry with qourn and stirfry in it had it with cous cous
i must admit i did have seconds of the curry as it was so nice and a coconut yoghurt for after , i am not going to put my syns on here tonight as i am sure i have gone over with my yoghurt and toast as they were large slices and i am just going to have a glass of red wine as i need one tonight to chill out , i only had 3 meals today and no snacks so i am not worried about today and if its nice i will go for a long walk or have a good dance on the wii at some point ,hope you all have a good evening and enjoy the rest of weekend x

Weigh in , Award and very shocked

Hi everyone sorry i did not blog last night but by the time i got in from slimming world class it was gone 9 pm and i was really tired as you all know i am on the early shift this week it  is my favourate shift as i finish in the morning and have rest of day to myself but as i start so early it does tire me out ,well enough of me working and back to weigh in ,class was really busy and i am sure its getting bigger always a good thing i was a bit nervous tonight about standing on the scales tonight as its a star week and because i put on half a pound last week due to water retention i was exspecting another gain but i stood on and a 3 pound loss i was so shocked and i smiled all the time at class and all the way home .My total loss so far is 17 pounds well chuffed this is the furthest i have got on a diet and enjoyed doing it to ,next week i would like another 3 pound loss to get be to a total of 20 pounds but even a pound be good as long as it comes off i dont mind really . I also got my sliver body magic award tonight .
i love getting awards as it keeps me motivated this will be pinned up again on my wall .i was in total shock last  night and it has motivated me even more to continue .
My day today has been a extra easy day and has gone like this .
2 magic muffins made with oatmeal put some cinamon in as well ,really nice ,a muller light greek yoghurt and a banana . took all this to work for break .
lunch i had a vegtable and chickpea chilli soup very filling with all the beans in  ,then went out for coffee with daughter as she had work did not stay out to long as its quite cold again ,like bloomin winter again out there .
Dinner tonight was not the planned meal we was going to have meatloaf and salad ,potatoes but daughter wanted to go jogging (i did not join her no way) decided to make a chilli and put in slow cooker while she was out ,then ready to dish up when she got in , and yes my stomoch is not feeling too good after all the chilli i have eaten today  , snack today was some pasta and bacon in a tbsp of mayo light  . Not a bad day and kept on plan lets hope i can keep this up all week i have not got anything on that would stop me only myself if im stupid . thats my blog tonight and i will be here tomorrow although it might be a quick one as i have friends round ,i will leave you with my syns for today

bodymagic and getting ready for the weigh in

I woke up this morning at 4 am to rain a great start to a monday morning and going to work early ,
one of my work friends was waiting outside for me by bus stop i always have to wave out window when i get up to let him know i am up and getting ready for work , he waits about 30 mins for me i have a quick shower coffee and go , i would invite him in but its to early ,and he does not mind waiting . I took breakfast to work and usually have it about 7. 30  , i had the rice pudding i made yesterday with a banana i really enjoyed it for a change .
This filled me up along with 2 coffees and kept me going till lunch time , got home from work and really did not feel well again so most of afternoon was curled up on sofa , felt really lazy but just felt really bad and all my plans had gone out the window , decided to have some lunch as thought it might make me feel a bit better so came up with this ,
Ham 2 potato scones beans and scrambled egg  kept me going till tea time , decided to move my bum of the sofa and take some pain killers and started to clean my bedroom and move furniture about as it needed sorting out and my daughter helped felt better once i got moving and tablets had kicked in and it did not take to long with the 2 of us doing it , i have to sort out my clothes but will do that in the week and take down the charity shop, with some other bits .

Finished room off and kids wanted there tea so started to get it all ready made chicken stuffed with philly and bacon wrapped around salad and home made coleslaw potatoes , beetroot ,pasta 
for dessert i have found these yoghurts in m@s they are free and my little indulgance my favourite on e is the rubarb creme brullee its really thick and creamy not like a diet yoghurt at all .
That was my day to day not very exciting im afraid but i have stuck to plan and its weigh in day tuesday and i have not got my hopes up as its my star week but we will see what happens  i have not had good losses the pass few weeks its slowed down and i have been staying the same and i still have 20 pounds to loose by beginning of july so i am going to have to up my game i think and start to get strict with myself and stick to plan 100%  i have got containers to weigh out my cheese and measure my milk in to and im thinking of having a syn container so i put all my syns for that day in the box and its there all weighed out and ready and then thats it for the day , W ell i hope everyone has a good tuesday and i will blog tomorrow night after weigh in  Night all

Relax who am i kidding

Hi everyone ,i have not blogged for a couple of days as i have not felt to good ,so have been trying to rest a bit ,Well i say rest i still had to do the usual stuff , washing and shopping etc 
Ihave stuck to plan this week apart from yesterday as i just did not know what to eat,nothing appealed to me i ended up having a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and a beef sarni at morrisons and a bowl of oatmeal tea , the family ended up having sausage and chips from the chippy as i was not well enough to cook .
SUNDAY;had a bit of a lye in this morning as im on earlies this week and not sure how im going to cope getting up i always feel tired by the afternoon and struggle , this morning had fruit for breakfast with 40g dorset musli 
As the sun was out i took a stroll to town had a costa coffee was really busy in there today thought i was not going to get a seat  , had a nose round town and found these in matalan ,containers to put my cheese in weighed out so i have right amount and i can just get it out fridge instead of cutting it up and nibbling it i am terrible for cheese and sure i have more than im aloud .
While i was out i went to my favourite cafe as there quite slimming world friendly and i had qourn bolognaise and pasta with salad and asked for no garlic bread , really filled me up and i knew it was all free so thats my place to go if i am out , got back home and decided to do a bit of cooking .
cheese and onion potato scones going to have these with a salad 
egg custard tarts they come out as 1 syn each , its 1 muller light banana and custard yoghurt and 3 whisked eggs mix together and add 1 tbsp of sweetner ,get 2 sheets of filo pastry each weighing 22.5 g which is 3 syns a sheet  glaze the sheets with melted marg and put them together make 6 squares then put them into greased bun tin add egg and yoghurt mixture sprinkle with nutmeg and bake for 25 mins at 150 c , they taste really nice . after making these i decided to make a rice pudding with the almond milk as i have not had one for a while ,
Think i will take some of this to work tomorrow for breakfast with a banana as i am on early shift ,so done all that cooking and made this for my dinner 
its a cottage pie made with the left over potato scone mix and it was really tasty some nice flavour as i used cheese and onion smash .well that was my day today not so relaxing and now im going to sort out my bedroom , i did manage to have a nice relaxing bath though, hope everyone has a relaxing evening , i shall leave you with my syns etc

a busy day

Hi everyone i have had a really busy day from this morning i have not stopped ,first i had to go to town and pay bills also get some bits in as daughter is having friends round for tea ,so by the time i had done all that had to get home and get ready for work and get tea ready for when i get in as on lates also sort my lunch out so it was non stop really ,Breakfast was oatmeal made with water and a yoghurt stirred in .
 i have not had oatmeal for a long time and really enjoyed it for a change and it tasted nice with the yoghurt mixed in , think i will make the magic pancakes with this as well .
Lunch today was lean bacon , scrambled egg , tomatoes and a 60 g roll , 1 tbsp tomato ketchup , watsits waffles bacon flavour really enjoyed lunch today as was somthing differant for a change . i decided to take a snack into work to have at break as i was hungry later on at work yesterday , and did not want to start eating the bread in the staff room there is always someone in there making toast and it always tempts you .
Melon and strawberries , with a coffee ,this kept me going till dinner but had to wait a while as daughter did not put it in when i asked so we had dinner late and all i kept hearing was when is dinner ready and i also had to go back to work ,so it was a rush this evening too , i will be glad when friday night comes and my week of lates are over as you cant go anywhere really when you have finished or even do anything apart from a bit of telly then bed .
Meat loaf made with lean mince beef onions garlic ,parsley binded with 2 eggs  bake in oven half way through cooking i added tomatoes and tomato purree chopped onion and cheese then finished off cooking , i had it with a small sweet potato and salad , i think i got the recipie from one of the karens from there blog but i cant remember which one it was a while back , i love making it as the kids love it and its so easy to make . So everyone that was my day today and im back at work for a while so i shall leave you with my syns for tonight and today my day was a red day
